Swire Energy Services, the world’s largest supplier of offshore cargo carrying units, has secured a contract with ASCO to support the company’s operations along the Norwegian coast.

The six year contract, with the opportunity for extension, will see the two companies work together to increase efficiency and reduce costs in the supply chain for ASCO and its customers.

As well as supplying a range of DNV rated cargo carrying units, ASCO will implement Swire Energy Services’ track and trace technology, OverVu^®. The solution, which uses a combination of auto-ID technologies, will allow ASCO to identify, locate and track equipment throughout the supply chain.
