Swire Energy Services, the world’s largest supplier of offshore cargo carrying units, has hosted a long service award ceremony to celebrate employees who have achieved five to 30 years’ service with the company.

In total, 23 employees across operations, engineering, commercial, quality and finance roles received an award, celebrating a combined total of 295 years’ service.

The event was attended by recipients, guests and senior management at Swire House in Aberdeen.

Before presenting the awards, Richard Sell, Chief Operating Officer and Roy Burrell, UK General Manager thanked staff for their commitment and continued contribution to the company.

Richard Sell, Chief Operating Officer said: “Swire Energy Services’ success over the past 37 years is down to our people - their knowledge and expertise is what has enabled us to grow the business and to provide a high level of service to our customers.

“We would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to all long service award recipients for their commitment to Swire Energy Services and their dedicated years of service.”

Steve Cummine, Tank Operations Manager in Aberdeen, who is celebrating 30 years’ service, commented: “Swire Energy Services has changed significantly since I first started as Tank Operations Supervisor 30 years ago.

“Continuity is one of our core values, and the fact that we are still owned by the Swire family proves that we still have a solid foundation now, and for many years to come.”
