Swire Energy Services (SES) is delighted to announce the award of a significant 5-year contract with Ørsted, a global leader in renewable energy, to provide maintenance services for offshore helideck and helicopter refuelling systems at Hornsea 1 and Hornsea 2, the world’s largest offshore wind farms. This contract includes the option for two additional one-year extensions, reinforcing SES’s role in supporting Ørsted’s landmark offshore wind operations.

Located off the coast of Yorkshire, UK, Hornsea 1 and Hornsea 2 are among the most important projects in the global transition to clean energy. These wind farms, once fully operational, will provide renewable electricity to over 2.4 million UK homes combined, marking a key milestone in the shift towards a more sustainable future.

As part of this contract, SES will ensure the safe and reliable operation of Ørsted’s offshore helidecks and refuelling systems, which are critical for efficient helicopter logistics and maintenance support on the platforms. With decades of experience in offshore aviation systems, SES will bring its industry-leading expertise to ensure that Ørsted’s operations remain compliant with the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

This latest agreement builds on the successful and longstanding collaboration between SES and Ørsted, further solidifying the partnership. Natalie Walsh, Commercial Manager for Aviation at Swire Energy Services, commented: “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Ørsted on these groundbreaking wind farms. Hornsea One and Two represent the future of renewable energy, and we are excited to play a part in ensuring their success through our world-class aviation solutions. This contract highlights our commitment to supporting renewable energy projects with the safest and most efficient systems available.”
