Way-Meng joined Swire Energy Services in 2018 as General Manager for the Asia Pacific region, where he was responsible for relocating the regional office from Singapore to Malaysia and further developed strategic partnerships in the region. Prior to joining SES, Way-Meng has an extensive career in the global Oil & Gas industry, with roles in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, Strategy and Project Management. Way-Meng has been responsible for the manufacturing facility, aftermarket services and project delivery for the Asia Pacific region. Way-Meng has an MBA from Strathclyde University, an Engineering Degree from Adelaide University, and hold many professional certifications such as PMP, Balanced Scorecard Professional, and has also attended the INSEAD Swire Accounting and Control Programme. Way-Meng speaks 3 languages and enjoys his free time playing various sports such as golf, tennis, and badminton.
