Marcelo joined Swire Energy Services in 2010 as a consultant in Brazil, and in 2011 SES BRA was officially incorporated and Marcelo became the company´s General Manager, the position he holds today where he supports the growth of the business in Brazil.
Prior to joining SES, Marcelo held various Commercial Director roles where he explored business opportunities and managed contracts with Equinor, Shell, Chevron, BP, Encana, ENI, among others. Marcelo has over 10 years of experience in the Metal Trading business in the USA & Brazil.
Marcelo has an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management in the USA and has attended the JSS Advanced Leadership Programme at Instead.
Outside of work, Marcelo is married with a 13-year-old daughter and lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where he enjoys wing foiling in the beautiful region around the city.
