Project Overview

Swire Energy Services was approached by a local engineering company to fabricate a skid frame and associated lifting equipment in accordance with EEMUA 197 to house a HVAC system for offshore use.

Solution

Swire Energy Services UK fabrication division based in Altens, Aberdeen delivered a fully fabricated skid frame suitable to house three individual HVAC systems provided by the client.

Once the frame had been fabricated the Swire team was tasked with the outfitting of the HVAC system. We worked closely with the client to ensure the best fitment of the items. The fitment was completed in full at the Swire yard helping to reduce transportation costs.

The project was scheduled to be completed within four weeks however due to client design changes was delayed by two weeks, giving a total project time of 6 weeks.
