Sling Manufacturing

We have the in-house facilities to manufacture and supply a range of wire rope slings, crane ropes, winch ropes and davit ropes compliant with BS EN13414-1, BS EN12079/DNVGL-ST-E271, DNVGL-ST-E273, NORSOK R-002, Brazilian Standard NBR13541-1, Austalian Standard ASEN 12079 and other relevant national and international standards.

We provide single leg, two leg, three leg, four leg, four leg c/w fifth leg wire rope slings from 6mm-128mm in diameter.

Our skilled team can manufacture all slings with flemish/ferrule secure soft eye or hard eye finishes including spelter socket and fused & tapered ends.

Testing and Inspection

We offer comprehensive testing and inspection services on a range of lifting equipment. Trained under LEEA, our engineers are qualified to carry out LOLER inspections both on and offshore, so that our customers can be assured that their operation is compliant with all relevant national and international regulations.

In addition, our team of level-2 ASNT & PCN, NDT technicians can offer non-destructive testing in a variety of disciplines and techniques.

Training & Certification

We can support our customers in both training and certification services. Swire can support in training as we host best practice and knowledge sharing sessions on how to use equipment safely and efficiently. We can manage the certification of lifting equipment so that our customers can be assured that they are operating at the highest standards at all times.

Rigging Loft Management

Swire Energy Services offers bespoke rigging loft management services to support our customers lifting operations on and offshore. As well as the in-house manufacture of wire rope slings, we have an extensive network of distributors for lifting equipment.

Rigging Loft:- Our range of standard or bespoke rigging lofts are available in a variety of sizes to meet our customers operational requirements.
